Fall Festivals!

The girls had a busy social calendar this fall!

First on the agenda was the Pet Expo at the State Fairgrounds. It's fun to meet with vendors, dog people, and of course other dogs. It was a chilly, drizzly day on Saturday, so an indoor event for dogs was just perfect!  Gracie Land entered the costume contest, and the owner-pet look alike contest (I wore my student nurse uniform, too) but we did not have a large enough fan club to win. On Sunday, Priscilla entered the best smile contest - and of course she DOES have the best smile, but did she smile for the audience? NO! Well, at least she had lots of fun flirting with the vendors!

On Sunday, we took Gracie Land and Priscilla to Dogtoberfest in Valley Junction, sponsored by Three Dog Bakery and other vendors. There was a good crowd - so busy that we couldn't find an open spot to participate in any of the cake walks!  The girls looks fabulous in their costumes, and we actually won a prize for matching owner-dogs. The weather was dry for the outdoor activities on Sunday, but it did get a bit chilly after being outside a while!
